Jamshedpur January 17:

The Jharkhand government expressed confidence that the 34th National Games to be held in the state next month would be the best so far and there would be no scams in the run up to it.

Proper process and transparency were being maintained in the preparation leaving no scope for irregularities, Chief Secretary A K Singh today said after chairing the core committee meeting of the Organising Committee here. The irregularities detected earlier were being investigated by state agencies, but presently the focus of the government was to conduct the games successfully, he said.

"We have moved far ahead and were focusing on to conduct the National Games in a grand manner," Singh said when asked about the irregularities detected in the run up to the games in the past.
