The Delhi government on Monday tabled the anti-corruption legislation, the Delhi Jan Lokpal Bill, in the Assembly.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said it was a historic Bill.
Earlier, expelled Aam Aadmi Party leaders Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan were detained along with their supporters as they staged a protest over the Janlokpal Bill outside the Delhi Assembly alleging that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had diluted the anti-graft measure.
