It’s confirmed! British band Coldplay will perform in Mumbai on Nov 19

After months of speculation, British band Coldplay is all set to perform in Mumbai. The band will perform on November 19 at the MMRDA in the city, reports Mid Day.
Quoting a source, the Mumbai daily said: “Yes Coldplay is set to perform in Mumbai on November 19 at the MMRDA and the show is being put together by the Global Citizen Festival run by Chris Martin.”

But here’s a catch: Tickets are priced at Rs 25,000 and above with the highest priced at - hold your breath - Rs 5 lakh! The tickets will be available on bookmyshow.com from September 12, the report adds.

The event will see a host of big celebs, including US rapper Jay Z, actors Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, along with musician AR Rahman and actress Deepika Padukone.
The official announcement will be made only next week, the report said.
