India beat Pakistan to win Kabaddi World Cup 2010

Ludhiana: Breaking News! India thrashed Pakistan in the final to win the Kabaddi World Cup 2010. The grand finale was held at Guru Nanak stadium in Ludhiana.

India scored 58 points in the final as against just 24 scored by Pakistan in a one-sided contest. There was high excitement and enthusiasm and the crowd was on its feet during the match.

Besides India and Pakistan, Britain, USA, Iran, Italy, Canada and Australia also participated in the Kabaddi World Cup. India beat Canada 57-36 in the semifinal. Pakistan beat Italy 57-33 in another semifinal.

India will get a whopping Rs 1 crore in prize money, while runners-up Pakistan will have to content with Rs 50 lakh. The second runners-up team will get Rs 25 lakhs. Other participating teams will be given Rs 5 lakh each.
