New Delhi October 13:

As the Commonwealth Games nears its end, with two more days to go, Commonwealth Games organising committee chariman Suresh Kalmadi is aspiring to host the Olympics.

With much controversy doing the rounds before and during the Games and glitches and errors cropping up every now and then, CWG federation chief Michael Fennell has described the event as successful and that 'the competition has been very good'. During the media briefing here this morning, Kalmadi was asked if India would bid for the Olympic Games.

To this he said ''All these things will be after the Commonwealth Games are over. I have a dream of hosting the Olympics, but I don't know when.'' After all the mess about the Games was out with much being said and written about corruption, delayed constructions, security and hygiene concerns, many parties had raised strong doubts over India's willingness and claim to host olympic Games in the future. CWG 2010 was being seen by India as a springboard to host Olympics.
