Neemrana Hotels Private Limited will soon invest Rs 5 Crores to convert historic property, Rajindra Kothi, at Baradari Gardens, Patiala into a Heritage Hotel. Neemrana Hotels has taken the property on lease for a tenure of 30 years, from the Department of Tourism, Punjab.

In the first phase, the finishing and infrastructure work inside the hotel is in full swing. Confirming the plan, Aman Nath, Director, Neemrana Hotels Private Limited, said that the finishing work on all 17 rooms, the restaurant, bar, conference hall and sitting room will be complete by September 2008. “The first phase of the hotel will open for visitors by September end this year,” informs Nath. The work involved in the second phase of the property will be commissioned by December 2008.

As per plan, all 17 suite rooms will be furnished with antique furniture, without disturbing their originality. The 4.5 acre property will provide a restaurant, bar, conference hall for 50 covers and sitting room for 25-30 persons. The surrounding area will be maintained with proper landscaping. The second phase will include a swimming pool, health club and one more restaurant to be complete by December 2008.
