New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Wednesday asked the Centre and the Delhi government to submit an action-taken report about banning junk food in schools across the country.
An NGO, Uday foundation, had filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) on the issue in 2010.
The Delhi government had filed a reply saying that ministries and departments concerned were issued notices, but the court was unsatisfied with it.
The government has now been asked to submit a fresh reply by November 2.
