The CPI(M) in Haryana alleged that the state government is involved in unconstitutional distortion of reservation policy.
The state Government and Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) are violating the normal laid down procedure to fill up the open quota first on merit basis and then fill up the reservation quota, CPI-M state secretary Inderjit Singh said.
Women, scheduled caste, backward class and all other candidates of reserved categories have been excluded for being considered in the open category despite having higher merit, he claimed.
