FOUR YOUTHS DIE IN CAR CRASH
Mansa April 1:
Four youths died in an accident while the fifth is battling for life. The five - Amit Kumar, Happy, Deepak alias Vicki, Deepak alias Gora and Sonu - all in their mid-twenties, were returning to Ratia from here at 4 am on Monday after attending a marriage when the Maruti Zen car (HR 59-5259), in which they were travelling hit a parapet wall of a pond near Borawal villagenear Bhikhi.
Hearing the crash, the villagers rushed out to come across a ghastly scene. Amit, Happy and Vicky died on the spot whereas Gora and Sonu had multiple injuries. The villagers brought the youths to the local Civil Hospital from where they were referred to Ludhiana. Gora died on the way there whereas Sonu is battling for life in a Ludhiana hospital.
