A major fire broke out in a high-rise in Bandra area here on Thursday afternoon.
No casualties have been reported.
Fire officials said the fire broke out at 1.30 p.m. at the Housing Development and Infrastructure Limited towers here on the ninth floor.
“Sixteen fire engines and 10 water tankers rushed to the spot. The fire is under control now. No casualties have been reported till now,” an official at the Fire Control Room said.
The 10-storeyed building, also called Aarma Fort building, is close to the Bandra station.
