Following the pardoning of the dera chief, movie ‘MSG-2’, featuring the dera head, was screened at ‘Fun Square’ cinema here today.
Happy Goyal, owner of the cinema hall, said the film was screened during two shows. He said no one prevented them from screening the movie today. However, 3-4 policemen were stationed on the premises for security, he said.
Harinder Sharma, a member of the 45-member committee of the Dera Sacha Sauda for Punjab, said the film was shown today at three cinema houses at Sangrur, Ahmedgarh and Malerkotla in Sangrur district.
Bathinda: ‘MSG-2’ opened to a full house here today. The only theatre screening the film in the district — single-screen theatre Pukhraj — was inundated with viewers who lined up outside the ticket counters to lay their hands on the tickets for the first show which was scheduled to begin at 4 pm.
As per information, the film may be screened at a multiplex also.
Moga: Ashwani Goel and Yogesh Goel, owners of Orbit Multiplex at Moga, confirmed that they had started screening the film from today.
