Residents of Badwa village of the district today submitted a complaint to the DC and the SP, seeking an FIR against the newly elected sarpanch Nirmala Gander for submitting fake educational documents.
The residents said Nirmala Gander had procured a matriculation mark sheet from the Bharatiya Shiksha Parishad of Lucknow (UP) to meet the educational criteria.
The villagers said the Bharatiya Shiksha Parishad had been listed as a fake institution by the UP and Haryana school boards. National Open School had also blacklisted it .
The villagers submitted a copy of Nirmla’s mark sheets and related documents with their complaint. Nirmala could not be contacted on her mobile phone despite repeated attempts.
