Punjab News Essential commodities’ prices remain static

The prices of essential commodities and vegetables remained nearly same as that of the last week. The prices sugar and wheat flour also remained same as that of the last week. After the increase of Rs 4 per dozen last week, eggs witnessed a fall of Rs 1 per dozen this week.

The prices of vegetables like onion, potato and peas remained nearly the same as that of the last week. Onion and potato remained at Rs 10 and Rs 6 per kg, respectively, this week. The price of peas also remained static and sold at Rs 80 per kg this week. Tinda witnessed an increase of Rs 4 per kg and sold at Rs 36 per kg this week.

Capsicum witnessed an increase of Rs 2 per kg and sold at Rs 32 per kg this week. Cucumber was selling at Rs 12 per kg this week against Rs 8 per kg last week.

Long gourd, cauliflower and lemon witnessed a significant decrease in prices. Long gourd and cauliflower were selling at Rs 20 and Rs 30 per kg, respectively, last week, but this week they are being sold at Rs 15 and Rs 25 per kg, respectively.
