DSGMC member's son found murdered in Haryana

Karanbir Singh, 24-year-old son of Chaman Singh, a member of Delhi Shrimoni Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) was found murdered on National Highway number 1 in Gannaur, 60 KM from national capital during wee hours of Saturday.

With multiple injuries, alleged to be inflicted by blunt and sharp edged weapons, Karanbir's dead body was found in the Industrial Area of Barhi in Sonipat. Chaman Singh has suspected foul play at the behest of one Akash, who had accompanied his son on Friday night.

Police have started the investigations after registering the case at Gannaur police station of Sonipat. DSP Om Parkash, the supervising officer of the case said, We are waiting for the postmortem report. Meanwhile we have deployed teams to round up the accused,'' he said

According to information Karanbir used to run his own car as contract carriage empaneled with Uber Cabs. On Friday night, he had left home for dinner with his friends.

According to family, it was during wee hours that they got the information that their son was injured and admitted in the hospital. It was on the arrival at Sonipat we found him lying in morgue,'' said Chaman Singh.
Meanwhile, DSP Om Parkash Said, acting on a call received on PCR, a police party had found Karanbir lying in the pool of blood. His body was lying 1000 meters from the car parked on the road side. On search of documents police had informed the family after getting their mobile numbers.

He had initially left home in the afternoon and following this he had informed parents at around 7 pm about his plans of going out with friends. His phone was not reachable till 2am and following this they got a call at around 4am,'' said DSP Om Parkash adding that further investigations are in progress to track Karanbir and Akash's location.
