DRUG PEDDLER ESCAPES FROM POLICE CUSTODY
Amritsar April 8:
A man arrested on the charges of drug peddling escaped from police custody at the district court complex here on Monday by throwing dust on the eyes of the men in uniform.
Satnam Singh Satta, who was arrested last year for allegedly possessing 1 kg heroin worth Rs.1 crore in the international market was brought to the court complex from central jail in Amritsar.
