Draft of right to service bill not ready
Chandigarh February 22:
The Cabinet meeting of Punjab Government on Today is unlikely to take up the ambitious Right to Service Bill 2011, which Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has approved. Sources said the draft of the Bill is not complete as yet.
“There are certain concerns which need to be thrashed out. The Government will bring the Bill only after the Budget Session now if possible,” said a senior government official on Monday. The proposed Bill had provisions of penalty against the erring officials if they were found guilty of lax services to the people.
