Commonwealth Games gold medallist sprinters Manjit Kaur and Mandeep Kaur, along with silver medal winner discus thrower Harwant Kaur were honoured by Punjab Basketball Association at a special function held here.
The trio champaions were felicitated along with the silver medal winning men's Basket Ball team of 2009-10 in the 60th Senior National Basketball Championships. Chief National boxing coach G S Sandhu, chief national wrestling coach, Ranbir Singh Sidhu, coach of Inspector Manjit Kaur and Mandeep Kaur Baljinder Singh were also felicitated.
R S Gill, President, Basketball Federation of India and Punjab Basketball Association R S Gill, IPS (Retd) presided over the function.
