Maintaining that Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal was feeling too much scared and overwhelmed by Captain Amarinder Singh phobia, several senior Congress leaders including some sitting and former legislators criticised him for his personal attacks on Captain Singh.
They said in a statement: “It was quite surprising that Badal had got so much overwhelmed with Captain Amarinder phobia that one day he pleaded for positive and constructive debate and the very next day he started launching personal attacks against him.
This speaks of the persecution complex of a person who is so scared of someone that one day he pleads for peace and next day he starts fighting with him.” The Congress legislators who issued the statement included Lal Singh, Jeet Mohinder Sidhu, Jassi Khangura, Sukhpal Khaira, Rana KP, Arvind Khanna and others. “The mask of positive and constructive attitude has worn out so fast,” they remarked.
