Jalandhar August 12:
City bus service would be started in Jalandhar and Ludhiana districts this month and special purpose company would be formed to execute the project under public-private partnership. This was stated by SAD president Sukhbir Badal in a press release issued here.
He said this service would later be started in Amritsar, Patiala and Bathinda districts. He also announced that the low-floor buses would have global positioning system and an audio system to announce the stations.
