A Colorado prosecutor told a judge on Monday that he had been unable to come to an agreement with lawyers representing Charlie Sheen, and the judge rescheduled the planned hearing until next month, Reuters reported. Mr. Sheen, a star of the CBS comedy “Two and a Half Men,” appeared in an Aspen court on charges stemming from a Christmas Day argument with his wife, Brooke Mueller Sheen, who called 911. Mr. Sheen was expected to plead guilty to a charge of misdemeanor assault against his wife and be sentenced to 30 days in jail, with permission to coach actors at a local theater as part of his plea bargain. Arnold Mordkin, the chief deputy district attorney of Pitkin County, told Reuters that the case had “hit a snag,” declining to give further details. Yale Galanter, a lawyer for Ms. Sheen, told The Associated Press that a disagreement over the terms of Mr. Sheen’s work release had held up the deal. The hearing on Mr. Sheen’s plea bargain was postponed until July 12.
