After bagging several awards back home, three mega Bollywood hits Chake De India, Guru and Jab We Met are also leading in the nominations for the prestigious IIFA awards to be held in Bangkok in June this year.
The nominations were announced by IIFA brand ambassador and Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan at a function.
"We started off very modestly but it (IIFA) has become a global celebration of Indian cinema bridging across cultures, tourism and people," the actor said announcing the nominations.
The 9th International Indian Films Award function is being held in Bangkok from June 6 to 8 this year.
Speaking at the function Thailand's Ambassador to India Chirasak Thanesnant said, "I admire the effort taken by the IIFA. Indian films are very popular in Thailand. We hope the award function will increase the people to people contact between the two countries."
