Building collapses in Mumbai, many feared trapped

A four-storeyed building collapsed in suburban Kurla late Wednesday night. Several people were feared trapped in the debris, fire brigade officials said.

"The building, Rafiq Estate, caved in past midnight and some residents are feared trapped inside," an official said.

Nine fire engines and four ambulances have reached the spot and the work to remove the debris is underway, the officials said adding, no casualty has been reported so far.
