Barack Obama made a passionate speech on Wednesday in what was his final State of the Union address. The US President spoke on a range of issues concerning the country and the world in a speech that impressed most. Except Donald Trump.
The Republican presidential candidate, known for making controversial remarks on a range of issues, found Obama's speech rather unimpressive. "The #SOTU speech is really boring, slow, lethargic - very hard to watch," he tweeted even as the President was still acknowledging a rapturous applause from the US lawmakers.

In his approximately 45-minute speech, Obama touched upon various topics including US economy, climate change, gun violence, immigration, the need to find a cure for cancer and health care reforms.
Despite what many say was a heartfelt address to the State of the Union, Trump remained bluntly honest in his assessment of it. Even in the past, the 69-year-old billionaire has flayed Obama on a number of issues and most recently said he and Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton are responsible for 'creating ISIS.'
Obama has largely only chosen to taken veiled jibes back at Trump's charges but on Tuesday, he outrightly rejected his brand of politics. "The message that Donald Trump's putting out has had adherence a lot of times during the course of our history. You know, talk to me if he wins. Then we'll have a conversation about how responsible I feel about it," he told TODAY's Matt Lauer.
