Ravinder Ravi, senior BJP leader and MLA of Dehra, today criticised Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh for levelling false allegations of corruption against the BJP.
He said the charges levelled by the Chief Minister against the BJP during his public meetings in Kangra in the past few days were false, baseless, and far from reality.
He said the present Congress regime in the state was most incompetent and had lost it grip on bureaucracy. It had no agenda for the development of the state and there was total disillusion and disappointment among all sections of society. The people of the state had become fed up with the faulty planning and defective policies of the state government which had affected the common man.
Ravi said Virbhadra Singh had no moral right to continue in the office as there were serious charges of corruption against him. The CBI and Enforcement Directorate (ED) had already booked cases of corruption and money laundering against him, even his premises were also searched by the CBI. He said the BJP would apprise the public of the misdeeds of the Chief Minister.
“Development activities in the state have come to a standstill; corruption is rampant; the condition of roads have gone from bad to worse; the tourism industry which fill the coffers of the state is in a criss; there is an acute shortage of essential commodities in the state-owned fair price shops; pensioner have not been paid their dues for the past two years. People of the state have become disillusioned with the functioning of the state government and are waiting for the Assembly elections to displace the Congress from the office,” Ravi said.
