Chandigarh April 1:

Senior Congress leader and former deputy Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha revolted against the leadership of PPCC president Mohinder Singh Kay Pee and questioned him for not taking up in the PPCC meeting, the issue of party tickets given to Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar, two accused in Delhi Massacre of Sikhs.

In a hard hitting statement here, Bir Devinder Singh said that Sajjan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler are perceived to be the perpetrator of the anti Sikh Riots in Delhi and have been indicted by at least ten commissions & Enquiry Committees appointed by the Government of India and other human Rights Organization from Time to Time besides the public out cry for 25 Years.

He said that he attended the PPCC meeting with the hope that Kay Pee would discuss the issue since he had publically promised to take up the matter in today's meeting. " To my utter dismay that PCC President but quite intriguingly imposed blanket ban on any discussion in meeting on any issue. The high profile meeting just restricted to none accept M.S Kaypee, Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, Rattna and two AICC observers who delivered their sermons to the congressmen assembled there.

He said that he was of the firm view that there was an urgent need to send a very strong signal to the congress High Command on such an emotive issue that is haunting the mind & souls of the entire Sikh community besides the right thinking people in the Country as whole. The Congress party needs to revisit the Ideals of Secular Polity in India. He mentioned that those who assassinated Indira Gandhi, were brought to justice and hanged without any loss of time. He demanded from AICC to address the issue with all fairness if really they have any respect for the Sikh Community and their Identity.
