Punjab Congress Legislature Party leader Rajinder Kaur Bhattal called upon the SAD-BJP government to immediately release 95 per cent grant-in-aid to the schools concerned.
In a statement here today, she questioned that what would the teachers teach who were worried about their bread and butter, "SAD-BJP is merely ruling the state and not governing it," she averred.
Ms Bhattal said the present dispensation was just bragging about development, whereas in reality, it was just opposite, as majority of projects were centrally funded. Many central projects were left in limbo, because of failure of state to contribute its share, she added. "People of the state can't be befooled by false propaganda of SAD-BJP regime and would give a befitting reply to such divisive forces", she said.
