AMRITSAR: A medical student delivered her child in the aircraft and tried to escape after abandoning the newborn in the aircrafts washroom.
The crew of the Turkmenistan Airlines plane found the baby boy in the toilet during a routine check after landing in Amritsar the IANS news agency reported.
They alerted airport authorities who found and arrested Amandeep Kaur Mann, a medical student returning from Turkmenistan.
'While on the flight, Amandeep Mann was very disturbed, and she was rushing to the toilet very frequently,' a police official was quoted as saying in the report. 'Some co-passengers and the aircraft staff also inquired about her health.'
She was caught by police on being alerted by the airlines staff. Both mother and child have been admitted in a private hospital. A case has been registered against the girl.
According to reports, Amandeep Jaur Mann (24), resident of Hoshiarpur,Punjab is studying medicine at Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Sources said Manns marital status is not clear.
While flying to Amritsar on board Turkmenistan Airlines flight number T5551 on Wednesday, she delivered the male child, but refused to accept it,but later confessed. Both Mann and the baby were moved to a hospital near the airport.The mother was doing well, but the child was in critical condition, medical superintendent HP Singh was quoted as saying by the PTI news agency. Singh said the infant's head was stuck in the toilet, which was taken to hospital along with the baby where it was freed by a team of surgeons.The family of the girl refused to talk to mediapersons and later took the girl home.
The child was said to be in a critical condition and was admitted in the ICU.

now just imagine wat type of future Dr she will be ... And that Crap Turkmenistan Airlines, how come they given boarding pass to a pregnant lady, who is just about to give a birth to a baby.

She is not innocent girl, she is matured and know everything what's good r bad.Her parents did faith on her and by their hard earning they sent her for higher studies.If every girl will do like this what will happen to their parents. If she has done some mistake she must admit and should tell her parents. She had matured pregnancy, shouldn't travel and more worse she throw the child in toilet .OMG !!
