AMRITSAR: Punjab Cabinet Minister for Food and Supply Adesh Partap Singh Kairon here Wednesday unfurled the National flag. He inspected parade before taking salute from am impressive march past during the district level Republic Day function.

Nearly thirty different personalities from different Government departments of district level besides fifteen freedom fighters were honored by Kairon in the presence of member parliament Navjot Singh Sidhu and deputy Commissioner Kahan Singh Pannu.
Stressing upon equality to all, Kairon said that Punjab Government was kind enough for BPL (below poverty line) 15 lakh families and facilitating them under the Atta Dal Scheme on regular basis on very nominal prices.
