Seven people, including four women and a child, were injured in a LPG cylinder blast in Mandoli village in this district.
Police said the incident occurred in the house of one Hari Singh when domestic help Lakhbir Singh was making tea for the family members this morning. The injured were identified as Gurmel Kaur, her son Gurtej Singh, daughter-in-law Narinder Kaur, Karamjit Kaur and Ramanjit sisters of Narinder Kaur, two-and-a-half-year-old Harkesh Deep, son of Karamjit Kaur, and Lakhbir Singh.
The injured, who received over 70 per cent burn injuries, were rushed to the local Rajindra Hospital from where they were referred Government Hospital Sec 32 Chandigarh.
