Three vehicles, including a car, were stolen from near Rose Garden, Sector 16, during the Rose Festival yesterday. The vehicles had been parked by visitors, who had gone to see the festival.
According to the police, Rawinder Singh, a resident of Sector 40, complained that his Maruti car was stolen from the venue.
Similarly, a motorcycle owned by Mohit Katyal, a resident of Sector 7, Chandigarh, was also stolen from near Rose Garden. An Activa scooter was also stolen by vehicle thieves.
The police suspect the same gang might have stolen the vehicles.
Three separate cases of thefts have been registered at the Sector 17 police station.
