2 soldiers injured in militant attack in Kashmir

Two army personnels were injured when militants attacked a patrol party in south Kashmir district of Pulwama early this morning.

A Defence Ministry spokesman said the details of the incident were being collected. Official sources said militants attacked army patrol party at Pulwama early this morning injuring two soldiers. Troops also retaliated but the militants managed to escape under the cover of darkness. The injured soldiers were admitted to army base hospital here, they said. Reinforcement was rushed to the area and a massive hunt was launched to nab the militants.
