शारजाह की शरिया अदालत ने 17 भारतीयों को पिछले साल एक पाकिस्तानी व्यक्ति की हत्या करने और तीन अन्य को घायल करने के लिए मौत की सजा



सुनाई है।

यूएई के अखबार खलीज़ टाइम्स में छपी खबर के अनुसार जस्टिस यूसुफ अल हमादी ने डीएनए जांच जैसे कई सबूतों के बाद 17 भारतीयों को मौत की सजा सुनाई। जांच में मिले सबूतों से साफ था कि दोषियों ने पाकिस्तानी व्यक्ति की चाकू मारकर हत्या की थी।

पुलिस ने बताया कि उस शख्स के शरीर पर चाकू से बार-बार हमला किया गया था और उसके दिमाग में भी चोट लगी थी, जिससे उसने दम तोड़ दिया। अखबार के मुताबिक पिछले साल जनवरी में यह हमला शारजाह के अल साज़ा इलाके में अवैध शराब के धंधे पर कब्जे को लेकर किया गया था।

पुलिस के मुताबिक आरोपियों ने तीन अन्य पर भी जानलेवा हमला किया था, लेकिन उन्होंने कुवैती अस्पताल पहुंचकर अपनी जान बचाई। दोषी करार दिए गए सभी 17 से 30 साल के हैं।

इस जानलेवा हमले में जिंदा बचे तीन पाकिस्तानियों के अनुसार, पिछले साल हमले वाले दिन 50 लोगों ने उन पर चाकुओं से हमला किया था। इसके तुरंत बाद पुलिस मौका ए वारदात पर पहुंच गई थी। इस हमले के आरोपी 17 लोगों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया था। बाकी को सबूतों के अभाव में छोड़ दिया गया था। कोर्ट में सुनवाई के दौरान सभी ने इस हमले में हत्या करना स्वीकार किया। फरेंसिक और डीएनए जांच में भी उनकी इस मामले में मौजूदगी साबित हो गई थी।
