This cool looking tea house is entirely made out of paper and cardboard. Created by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, it is part of a sale of Japanese art and design held by auctioneer Philips de Pury and Company. Constructed using square paper tubes, the tea house is designed for indoor use and houses a table and four stools. It also features a waiting area with a bench for tea ceremony practice.

The paper constructions aim to address the current trend of unattainable design of high-tech and instead uses low tech, adaptable and recyclable materials. It will be offered for sale at an estimate of £20,000-30,000.
