Jeff Koons (born January 21, 1955) is an American artist whose work incorporates kitsch imagery using painting, sculpture, and other forms, often in large scale. “Tulips” are seven stainless steel sculptures with transparent colored coatings. He rendered a drawing similar to his famous “Tulip Balloons” for placement on the front page of the Internet search engine Google. The drawing greeted all who visited Google’s main page on April 30 2008 and May 1 2008.
