NOTICE​

Walk in interview for the post of two Research Assistants on 17.08.2015at 10.00 am in the office of undersigned in the project “Addressing Bovine Tuberculosis at the Human-Animal interface and Veterinary Antibiotic use in Small Holder Peri-Urban Dairy Farms in India to Ensure Safe and Sustainable Milk Production” at the following emoluments and qualifications:

Qualifications: Research Assistant

The proposed qualification and job responsibilities for the post are as follows

1. B.Sc (Medical/Non-Medical)/B.A with a minimum of 50% marks.
2. Knowledge of Punjabi up to matric level. A candidate without knowledge of Punjabi would only be considered for appointment provided no candidate in that category, with the knowledge in Punjabi is available.

Desirable: Degree/diploma in laboratory technician and/or experience of working in any laboratory as laboratory technician and knowledge of basic computer functions.

Emoluments: 10,000 p.m fixed
Job Responsibilities:
To assist in processing samples to be analyzed using HPLC and molecular detection tests.
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by P.I.
The post is purely temporary and the services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any prior notice. The appointment will be for six months or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier. The term can be further extended subject to satisfactory performance. The incumbent will have no right what so ever for absorption in the regular university service.
