The Expendables 4 is an upcoming action film directed by Avi Lerner and is a sequel to the 2014 film The Expendables 3 and the fourth installment of the franchise.

This was confirmed in March 2014 by former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan, who stated that he had agreed with Avi Lerner to star in a future The Expendables sequel. During an interview, Stallone stated that he wants Dwayne Johnson(The Rock) to play the villain of The Expendables 4.
