The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has tweeted that the West Indies' tour of India will consist of 2 Tests, 3 One Day Internationals and a three-day Warm-up game. The game will be played between the 31st of October and 27th of November.
Mumbai and Kolkata are the likely venues for the much-anticipated Test matches and the final decision will be taken by the BCCI's tours and fixtures committee.
With West Indies now giving the nod for the series to take place, it will give Sachin Tendulkar a chance to complete the historic milestone of playing 200 Tests in front of his home fans. Tendulkar has played 198 Tests so far and the second Test of this series would take him to one of the several milestones he has achieved in a glittering career.
Meanwhile, there have been no updates on the South Africa series yet, although BCCI president N Srinivasan had earlier dismissed speculations of the tour being scrapped.[/img]
