Taskin Ahmed and Arafat Sunny, the Bangladeshi bowlers, who were suspended for illegal action during the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 were on Thursday (April 7) named in the 'players by choice' roster for the upcoming Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League scheduled to begin later this month.

The draft will take place on April 10 where more than 200 cricketers will be traded amongst 12 Dhaka-based teams. Sunny, who has been part of the domestic circuit for over a decade now is added in the 'A-plus' category, while Taskin is in the "A" category.

The Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League is the top most One-Day competition in Bangladesh and the 2016 season will be the first time Taskin and Sunny will play competitive cricket after being suspended.

Sanjit Saha, Bangladesh U-19 bowler, reported for a faulty action during the Under-19 World Cup, will also be part of the League and has been named under the 'C' category. The Dhaka Premier League has previously seen bowlers suspended by the ICC for suspect action taking part in the tournament, Sohag Gazi being one of them.

As per article 6.1 of the ICC's rules relating to a reported illegal action, a bowler banned from bowling in international cricket will be allowed to bowl in domestic matches 'under the supervision and with the consent of his/her home board'.
