Sri Lanka look well set to complete a whitewash in the ODIs as well. Bangladesh had their best chance of a win in the first ODI but squandered the golden chance. The second ODI was a far more comfortable victory for Sri Lanka and they will be eager to end the tour with a perfect record. The hosts will be desperate to clinch a victory themselves which could serve as a morale-booster

Sri Lanka:
They will be without Tillakaratne Dilshan, Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara for the dead rubber. It gives an opportunity to test their bench strength yet again. The batting has been rescued by one of the veterans in the recent past but it will be a huge challenge for the youngsters present to try and make a mark for themselves.

The bowling department contains the variety that will be the envy of many a team. The mixture of youth and experience is just about perfect as well. Mathews will have little to worry about while managing the resources he has at his disposal.

Bangladesh:

Bangladesh have taken a lot of pride in their performances prior to this series. They will be keen to give something back to their ever-passionate fans with a consolation win. The absence of experienced campaigners in the oppositions presents them with an ideal opportunity to steal a win.

Inconsistency has been the hosts bane in both batting and bowling. Mushfiqur Rahim will shoulder the batting burden once again. Some support from the likes of Mominul Haque and Nasir Hossain will be most welcomed. The other pillar in the line up, Shakib Al Hasan will have a big role to play in terms of providing them inspiration. He holds the key with the bowling as well, along with Mashrafe Mortaza.

There seems to be a lot of people outside the group who are panicking but I am not panicking at all - Shane Jurgensen, Bangladesh's coach, remains calm despite not bagging a win all series
