Rain delays start of first S.Africa-Australia Twenty20

Rain delayed the start of the first Twenty20 international between South Africa and Australia at St George?s Park on Sunday.

Rain fell steadily for most of the morning but there was a break in the weather shortly before the scheduled start, only for more rain to fall soon after the ground staff started removing the covers.

The three-match series provides both teams with an opportunity to prepare for the World Twenty20 in Bangladesh later this month.​
