Praveen Kumar out of CLT20 due to injury
Praveen Kumar, the Mumbai Indians medium-pacer, has been ruled out of the rest of the Champions League T20 due to a shoulder injury. He has been replaced by left-arm seamer, Pawan Suyal.
Praveen took part in the first game of Mumbai Indians' campaign, against Lahore Lions. He injured his right shoulder in that game, said a report on the Mumbai Indians' official website. Praveen is undergoing assessment by doctors and reports are awaited to know the full extent of the injury.
Praveen did not feature in the Mumbai Indians' second game against Southern Express and was replaced in the eleven by leg-spinner, Shreyas Gopal. His replacement, Pawan Suyal, has played for Mumbai Indians previously as well.
