Former Aus pacer Gilmour dies at 62

Former Australian Test bowler, Gary Gilmour, died aged 62. Gilmour featured in 15 Tests and 5 ODIs for Australia. The left-arm pacer was best known for his 6/14 in the semi-final of the 1975 World Cup against England. The spell is considered as one of the best of all-time in ODIs. He also picked a five-wicket haul in the final against West Indies. Gilmour scored 483 runs and picked 54 wickets in Tests.

Gilmour underwent a liver transplant in 2005 and had faced many health issues in the subsequent years. He passed away in Sydney's Royal Alfred Hospital.
