Rosary presented by Guru Arjan Dev to Hazrat Mian Mir at the time of his laying the foundation stone of Shri Harmander Sahib. Perhaps it was for the first time in human history that a Prophet of one religion invited a saint of another faith to lay the foundation of a prominent shrine, signifying oneness and brotherhood of humanity. Sikh faith does not promote forced conversions. Sikhs don't actively proselytize. Guru Nanak advised people to follow their own religions with truth and sincerity.
