Bhai Bidhi Chand presenting the rescued from to Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji.


Two horses named Dilbhag and Gulbhag had been presented to Guru Ji but had been seized by Emporer shah Jahans officials. Bhai Bidhi Chand was determined to rescue the horses. Disguised as a royal grass cutter and then as a astrologer he gained the confidence of the Royal court and in both cases in the dead of the night took the horses and rode them over the castle walls into the moat below and returning them to Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji.
