A throng of Shiv Sena activists reached the ‘Bigg Boss’ premises to protest against the participation of two Pakistanis - Veena Malik, an actress, and Begum Nawazish Ali, a cross-dresser - in the show. As per reports, police claims that there were 24 Shiv Sainiks, but the locals say the number was around 50.

The Shiv Sainiks were reportedly with flags and were mouthing slogans like Jai Bhawani, Jai Shivaji. Under the Bombay Police Act, they were detained by the police officials at the studio.

As per reports, the protestors led by Machindra Kharade, the local Shiv Sena leader, managed to barge into the compounds of Bigg Boss but couldn’t enter the house. Now, all of them are in police custody.

The channel people have confirmed that the shoot is progressing at the ‘Bigg Boss’ house which is situated in Lonavala and tight security envelops the area, ensuring no further interference by the Sena people.

The situation is in control as additional security was called from Mumbai.
