Actor-turned-producer Arbaaz Khan isn’t as superstitious as particular that the name of the film he produces be correctly pronounced. That, according to him, is the reason behind an extra ‘g’ in the title of his movie Dabangg.

“Dabangg means fearless. We had earlier spelt it as Dabang but many people were reading it Da-Bang. There may be an astrological reason for all you know, but the actual reason is to cause a resonance and stress on 'g' so that the word is pronounced correctly,” Arbaaz is quoted as saying by a news agency.

The movie, starring Salman Khan and introducing Sonakshi Sinha, tells the story of a corrupt cop and his dim-witted brother, played by Arbaaz. The supporting cast includes Sonu Sood, Dimple Kapadia and Vinod Khanna.

The film’s first teaser has got a good response from movie buffs and its release in September is eagerly awaited.
