Just a few months back, Barbara Mori seemed set to take Bollywood by storm. Starring opposite Hrithik Roshan in the much hyped film Kites, she was touted as the next big thing in Bollywood, until her rising popularity was punctured by the film’s super debacle at box office.

On the other hand, Sonakshi Sinha’s not so hyped debut in this year’s mega hit movie Dabangg was appreciated by all and sundry. The girl, daughter of Shatrughan Sinha, isn’t just gorgeous, she does know how to act as well.

No surprise that she’s been voted the Best Debutante of 2010 in the latest poll by ApunKaChoice. 2473 voters took part in the poll and voted heavily in favour of Sonakshi. She got an overwhelming 77 percent of the votes. The girl is now set to do more films with Salman Khan.

Neha Sharma, who debuted in the recently released Crook: It’s Good To Be Bad, surprisingly beat Barbara to grab the second spot with 10 percent votes. Though ‘Crook’ flopped, Neha has certainly caught people’s attention.

Barbara came third with just 9 percent ayes. Hers is the most tragic debut of 2010.

Pakhi, who debuts as the leading lady in hubby Abbas Tyrewala’s film Jhootha Hi Sahi, came last with just 4 percent votes. Though Pakhi has performed well in the film, she looks a tad mature for John Abraham.[/img]
