Shraddha Kapoor, new favourite of Yash Raj Films

Strikes a big deal

Lucky Shraddha Kapoor! First she got the chance to share screen space with Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley in her very first movie Teen Patti, and now she has struck a big deal with Yash Raj Films. The girl must be as pleased as punch.

The stylish newbie apparently had to appear for a screen test. As she is talented, it didn’t take that long to convince the YRF people. Now Shraddha has signed a 3-film contract with the production house and is forbidden to do any other banner’s film.

Unfortunately, because of the contract she has to opt out of Madhur Bhandarkar’s comedy Dil To Bachcha Hai Ji with Ajay Devgan. Somebody’s loss is somebody’s gain; Shazahn Padamsee has been roped in for Shraddha’s role.

Actress Anushka Sharma too is bound by the 3-film YRF deal.
