Shahrukh Khan wants to make a small, sweet, romantic film, but guess what?...no aides for the superstar. It is hard to find good directors, admits SRK.
The star understands the power of small even though he is producing Ra.One which is being made on a humungous budget. Shahrukh’s small budget, romantic film Always Kabhi Kabhi directed by Roshan Abbas will release soon.
But he wants to produce more small budget movies and has spoken to directors like Anurag Basu, Imtiaz Ali, Anurag Kashyap and Vishal Bharadwaj. “I’ve told them that I want to make a small, interesting and stylised purely romantic film on characters my age…but no one’s come up with a script yet,” the actor tells a daily.
The star has on his mind small films. He liked 3 Idiots, and his Always Kabhi Kabhi is also about youngsters.
Hope he gets directors for his career pursuits. Amen
