‘My Delhi, My Games’. Then who else would be better than the Delhiite Shahrukh Khan for the Commonwealth Games opening. The star is expected to attend the October 3 gala event.
The director of the opening and closing ceremonies of the Commonwealth Games, Viraf Sarkari, is sure that the organizing committee will invite Shahrukh and the actor will take out time to be at the event. “I am sure the organising committee will invite Shahrukh Khan and he can decide according to his schedule, whether he will be able to make it or not. It will be great to have him though,” says Viraf.
Though the theme of the games’ opening ceremony is not centered on Bollywood, a dash of razzmatazz will definitely spice up things and also infuse some positivity. The Organising Committee members are also not ruling out the SRK’s presence on the opening day.
The opening ceremony will be a big gala showcasing the rich Indian cultural heritage. Preparations are on!
